En japonais, on l&rsquo;appelle \u00ab\u00a0<em>Orenai Te<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. C&rsquo;est un exercice issu du Yoga japonais, le SHIN-SHIN-TOITSU-DO, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 diverses pratiques dont l&rsquo;A\u00efkido.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans un premier temps, la personne sans coordination du corps et de l\u2019esprit se tient debout, un bras lev\u00e9 en avant \u00e0 l\u2019horizontale. Son partenaire, lui, se place \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 et proc\u00e8de au test. Il pose une main sur le biceps et l\u2019autre sous le poignet, et applique progressivement une force physique visant \u00e0 plier le bras de la personne.<\/p>\n<p>La personne r\u00e9siste physiquement au partenaire. T\u00f4t ou tard, le partenaire risque bien de r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 plier le bras en raison de l\u2019avantage de la position, et la personne test\u00e9e se fatiguera \u00e9norm\u00e9ment en raison d\u2019un effort physique soutenu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le partenaire doit se souvenir de la quantit\u00e9 de force physique qu\u2019il applique sur le bras de la personne test\u00e9e, car il devra faire le m\u00eame effort un peu plus tard. Si la personne ne fait rien, le bras va plier facilement. Dans les deux cas, le test et l\u2019exercice sont valables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans un deuxi\u00e8me temps, la personne debout coordonne son corps et son esprit en focalisant son attention au centre situ\u00e9 dans le bas-ventre. Le partenaire v\u00e9rifie la coordination de la personne en testant sa stabilit\u00e9 physique. La personne l\u00e8ve alors un bras de fa\u00e7on tr\u00e8s d\u00e9tendue et naturelle, non pas avec le concours de l\u2019\u00e9paule mais bien comme si un fil tirait le bout de ses doigts vers le haut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le bras demeure toujours en pleine extension avec la m\u00eame courbure naturelle qui pr\u00e9valait lorsqu\u2019il pendait sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9. Arr\u00eatant \u00e0 mi-chemin en avant d\u2019elle (\u00e0 l\u2019horizontale), pointant l\u00e9g\u00e8rement le bout de ses doigts vers l\u2019avant, la personne \u00e9vite de tendre ses muscles ou de produire de tensions dans son bras et son \u00e9paule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si elle est demeur\u00e9e coordonn\u00e9e et donc vraiment d\u00e9tendue, elle aura la vague impression que son bras flotte dans l\u2019air sans effort. Elle ne doit pas se pr\u00e9occuper du test qui viendra. La personne doit donc maintenir un esprit in\u00e9branlable en continuant \u00e0 focaliser l\u2019attention au centre situ\u00e9 dans le bas-ventre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bien que la personne n\u2019utilise aucunement ses muscles ou d\u2019autres formes de tensions physiques lors du second test, son bras est devenu virtuellement inflexible. Les enfants r\u00e9alisent habituellement cet exercice avec une facilit\u00e9 d\u00e9concertante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Que le partenaire soit tr\u00e8s fort physiquement et tr\u00e8s muscl\u00e9 n\u2019y change rien. M\u00eame si la personne test\u00e9e est une dame \u00e2g\u00e9e ou un enfant et que le testeur soit un homme, il lui sera vraisemblablement impossible de plier le bras en appliquant une force physique. Bien entendu, l\u2019exercice et le test doivent \u00eatre ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s correctement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La personne test\u00e9e ne sent pratiquement aucun stress sur son bras et en vient \u00e0 douter de la t\u00e9nacit\u00e9 du testeur, et ce, m\u00eame si ce dernier applique davantage de force physique.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La personne test\u00e9e peut demeurer dans cette position aussi longtemps qu\u2019elle le d\u00e9sire sans se fatiguer alors que le testeur s\u2019\u00e9puise. Ceci est un exemple physique de la puissance d\u2019un individu qui diffuse le Ki.
